Kyle Morgan
And Band

Saturday, March 14
Doors 7:45 | Show 8:00
Tickets $15 - $20
8 Silk Mill Drive, Hawley, PA

Kyle Morgan- Play

Kyle Morgan is a nomad artist of word and melody, a philosophizing songster who’s dynamic style resists simple categorization. Though his writing draws heavily on the tradition of American song and its roots in old-time balladry and country-blues, there’s too much Beatles and Kinks mixed in to accurately label it ‘Americana’. As evidenced by his debut 2013 release, Starcrossed Losers, Morgan has the uncanny ability to shift musical moods on a dime from rock’n’roll fueled angst to intimate nylon stringed love songs.

Billy Strings & Don Julin

Saturday, April 4
Doors 7:45 | Show 8:00
Tickets $15 - $20
8 Silk Mill Drive, Hawley, PA

Billy Strings and Don Julin - Play

Drenched in sweat, grimacing like a banshee, howling like a bluegrass berserker, and picking with such ferocity that he’s been known to break three strings in one song, 22 year old guitarist and singer Billy Strings could have tumbled out of coal country in the old mountains, tattoos and all, but actually hails from Michigan, where he met mandolinist Don Julin. On stage, the two egg each other on to more and more intense riffs and improvised breaks, pushing harder and harder on their own abilities to try to break through to new levels of musicianship. There’s a reason that they were called “the unholy child of Pantera and Tony Rice” by The Bluegrass Situation..

Leroy Justice displays the kind of songwriting and arranging skills that have characterized great American rock bands from Neil Young & Crazy Horse to the Allman Brothers Band. Songs like “Up On The Mountain,” “Blue– Eyed Blues,” “So Long,” and “Two Trees” are destined to become staples of Leroy Justice’s compelling live show, an emo- tion–packed thrill ride shared by musicians and listeners alike. Reminiscent of a present day Led Zeppelin, but with greater focus on storytelling and modern sensibilities. Songwriter and lead vocalist Jason Gallagher more closely helms Leroy Justice somewhere nearer to Dawes and Delta Spirit. It’s classic rock for the modern day.

"A sure-footed young singer-songwriter," in the words of The New York Times, Jean Rohe has been captivating audiences for years with her one-of-a-kind narrative songs. Jean's writing concerns itself as much with the internal world as with the external. Her songs, which range from fantastical riffs on old folktales to autobiographical sojourns, to "phonojournalism", a genre of her own invention, have won recognition from the ASCAP Foundation and the New York Songwriters Circle. A true citizen artist, she gracefully approaches matters of social concern with artistry and heart.

Red Tail Ring - Play

Red Tail Ring is the musical brainchild of two old-time-minded Michiganders – Michael Beauchamp and Laurel Premo. The collaboration blends the loving attention of revivalist fervor with the playful creativity of starting from scratch. Whether rendering a traditional tune or one of their many original compositions, the duo infuses each song with musical imagination, haunting harmonies and instrumental artistry on fiddle, banjo, mandolin, jawharp, and plain-old foot stomping. "We love pushing the boundaries of what a traditional song can be," says Beauchamp. "It informs how we write our original songs. There's a real energy exchange between the old and the new."
